Advice changing young lives
The short films in the link below were made by the Youth forum show how the Citizens Advice service can help young people who are struggling to manage money and debt problems. Scooby tells how he got a £1 overdraft which accrued charges of around £600 because he ignored the letters. Adila is a shopaholic who has not been able to control her spending and has ‘maxed out’ her credit cards, overdraft and student loan. The young people have also recorded their top tips for managing money. This project is funded by the HBOS Foundation.
