Kickstart - Communications Assistant

Reporting to:  Communications Officer

Role purpose: To play a key role in communicating with our audiences, to raise the profile of our work, services and projects. This will include working with traditional media, as well as digital and social media.

Hours per week: 25 hours

Trowbridge, Salisbury, Chippenham or Devizes, flexible and homeworking available

Holidays 33 days per year (inc bank holidays)

Applications can be made by referral from their work coach. Applicants should be in receipt of Universal Credit and be between 16-24 yrs.

Advice line Supervisor(s)

Hours:               Flexible (actual hours and working pattern by agreement with the successful candidate)  0.8 Full Time Equivalent.

                          30 hours per week.

Salary:                £25,413  full time equivalent 

Annual leave:    33 days pro rata including Bank Holidays

Term:                 Permanent

Location:            Wiltshire wide cover. 

What you need:  You need to be client focussed and can work to support volunteers and help them grow. We need people to ensure that we can best use our staff and volunteers to provide the best quality advice,  on the telephone and by email. You will need experience of working in a customer facing service, possibly in the advice, statutory or third sector. 

What you don’t need: In depth technical knowledge of a particular advice subject area. However, some working knowledge of advice areas would be beneficial. We have multiple channels of support to help you to develop this knowledge. You just need to bring an enquiring mind and people skills.

Project Administrator

Hours: 0.5 Full time equivalent 18.5 hours per week 

Location: Flexible with the ability to travel across Wiltshire. 

Salary: £18,278.00 per annum (pro rata), plus 6% pension contribution after 3 months

Annual Leave:  33 days (inclusive of bank holidays)

Term: Permanent

 Wiltshire Citizens Advice is looking for a flexible administrator to provide administrative assistance and general support to the project.

You will be able to demonstrate recent experience in an administrative role, have excellent IT skills along with a high level of communication skills.  You will be flexible in your approach and enjoy working as part of a committed team.

You will have an empathy and commitment to work within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service and can identify with our values to be fair, responsible and professional.
