Peripatetic Advice Session Supervisor
Salary: Up to £21,550 p.a. (pro rata), plus 6% pension contribution
Hours: 14 hours per week
Term: 1 year initially with possibility of further funding
Annual leave: 33 days (inclusive of bank holidays), pro rata for part time
Wiltshire Citizens Advice is looking for an experienced and flexible supervisor to work as required throughout Wiltshire in any of our four main offices and associated outreaches. With at least 12 months experience in an advice setting you will be able to manage the practicalities of each advice session and provide support and guidance to workers ensuring quality standards are met.
We are looking for someone who has in depth knowledge of both the welfare benefits system (and the proposed changes) and the money advice process. You will have previously worked with volunteers and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of support, development and motivation. Effective communication skills, both oral and written are essential to this role, along with a good level of numeracy and excellent IT skills. The post also requires some report writing and statistical preparation.
